Single head or dual head?
Clay shooting involves shooting at single targets (one target released from one trap) or double targets (two clays released from the same or different traps.)
Double targets may be "simultaneous" (both clays released at the same time) or "on report" (the second target released when you shoot at the first one.)
The two DryFire options
DryFire comes in two options: single head and dual head.
Both options support single targets and double targets (simultaneous and on-report).

For simultaneous double targets:
- The dual head system shows both targets at the same time - two heads, two lasers, two targets.
- The single head system shows the first target then shows the remaining path of the second target as soon as you hit the first one.
In its own mind (if software can have a "mind") the DryFire software is running both targets at the same time and it can instantly switch to the remaining path of the second target as soon as you hit the first target.
There is an option to "show the second target even if I miss the first one" in which case the software will show the remaining path of the second target as soon as you shoot at the first one - even if you miss it.

Which to choose?
We have International medal winners who practise with the single head system and others who use the dual system.
Most double trap competition shooters tend to pick the dual head system.
The dual head system is ideal if you want to mentally keep your eye on the second target while shooting at the first.
A single head unit can be upgraded later to the dual unit. We need the simulator back to fit the second head and to recalibrate the unit,
