Warranty

Note: in this document "we" and "us" refer to The DryFire Corporation Ltd in the UK. Details on the contacts page.

General warranty

  • We offer a full refund (excluding original shipping charges) if a unit is returned to us, complete and in as-new condition, within 14 days of original shipment.
  • We offer a six months return-to-base warranty.
  • The warranty period starts the date the system is first shipped from the UK because we have no control over other dates.
  • We keep our repair cost to an absolutely minimum (we cover our costs) to provide you with the best possible service.
  • We cannot warranty any units that have been modified in any way since they left us.
  • We cannot warranty any units operated with software not provided directly by us.

Important notes

  • These terms apply if you purchased your system directly from us in the UK.
  • Please contact your dealer if you purchased outside the UK.

Repairs within warranty period

  • These terms apply only if the fault is due to a problem with original components supplied by DryFire.

    Please see the "Outside warranty" terms if you drop your unit, it is knocked off its tripod by a child/dog or it is physically damaged in any other way.

  • The customer pays the cost of returning the unit to us.
  • We cover the cost of all repairs.
  • We cover the cost of return shipping.
  • All units are programmed, calibrated and tested before return shipment - they go through the same procedures as new units.

Outside warranty

  • The customer pays the cost of returning the unit to us.
  • Charges for repairs are shown in the price list.
  • Return shipment is charged to the customer at cost price.
  • All units are programmed, calibrated and tested before return shipment - they go through the same procedures as new units.

Other terms

  • We need the complete simulator to carry out repairs, programming, calibration and testing.
  • Please check the support page and please contact us by email before shipping a unit for repair.
  • A returns form must be completed.
  • Turn round time for repairs is 28 days maximum.
  • We will not accept any return item from outside the EU where the customs value indicates a value of greater then 25.00 GBP.

  • We charge for any repairs required resulting from bad packaging when the unit is returned to us. See the contacts page for packing details.
  • We do not offer a dealer discount on repair charges.
